HEATH & BEAUTY...

For Women And Ladies Only; Keeping Your Womanhood Clean and hygienic.

GREAT TIPS!!!
women & ladies
Most women are taught early on to cleanse daily with strong soap or use "feminine hygiene" sprays, but this can actually do more harm than good. Knowing the right way to stay clean, choosing foods that will boost your health, and even exercising your vagina are all ways you can keep your vagina in tip top shape. Read on to learn more about how to have a healthy vagina. Wash With Hot Water Only. It may seem counterintuitive, but washing your vagina with soap, whether its bar soap or liquid, isn't the best way to keep clean.
The vagina actually stays quite clean on its own without the help of outside cleansers.
Vagina has a pH level that needs to be maintained within a certain range – 3.5 and 4.5, to be specific – in order to prevent the growth of unhealthy bacteria and facilitate the growth of good bacteria.

Using harsh cleansers can upset the balance, leading to infection, irritation, and even bad smells.
People often refer to the entire area "down there" as the vagina, but remember that the vagina is actually the tube-like muscle located inside your body. The vulva, the skin outside the vagina, may be cleansed with no-frills bar soap, as long as you don't find that it irritates your skin.
If you do end up washing your vagina with soap, make sure to thoroughly rinse it with warm water so that no traces of soap are left behind. Soap left inside the vagina can cause irritation. Don't Use Douches or Feminine Sprays.
Douching with chemicals that are supposed to make your vagina smell like a field of flowers actually ends up having quite the opposite effect.
They wash out all the healthy bacteria that helps your vagina stay clean and infection- free.
The chemicals left behind by douches can cause irritation and even burning, and the same goes for feminine sprays. If you keep your vagina healthy using other methods, there will be no need to try to make it smell different.
Scented creams marketed as a way to change the smell of your vagina can cause the same problems, so these should also be avoided. The same goes for scented pads and tampons and scented wipes.
If you feel like you absolutely have to use a scent on your vagina, go for something completely natural and chemical free. You can make your own body spray by mixing a few drops of an essential oil like rose, lavender or lemongrass with water in a spray bottle. Use the body spray after showering, and make sure you're completely dry before getting dressed. Have Good Hygiene During Your Period.
Many women experience an increased rate of vaginal infections when they're menstruating, since having blood in the vagina changes its pH and throws things out of balance.
To stay healthy during your period, practice the following habits: Change your tampon frequently.
Tampons absorb menstrual blood, and if you leave them in too long, you're keeping the blood in your vagina where it can change your pH.
Make sure you change your tampon every few hours to keep this from happening. Don't use pads or panty liners for longer than necessary. Wearing pads and panty liners all month long or after your period is over can lead to skin irritation.
Consider getting a menstrual cup. These rubber cups are inserted in the vagina to catch the blood, then rinsed out with hot water every few hours.
Menstrual cups are a chemical-free choice for handling your period, and they can be really helpful if you tend to get irritated by tampons and pads. Wipe From Front to Back.
It's important to wipe from front to back, rather than the reverse, to keep fecal matter from entering your vagina and causing an infection. Use plain, unscented toilet paper to wipe.
Avoid using wet wipes or any other product that contains perfumes and chemicals. Wear Cotton Underwear.
Cotton underwear dries quickly and allows air to flow freely through the fabric. This prevents the
development of damp conditions that promote the growth of yeast and unhealthy bacteria that might lead to an infection.
Underwear made from synthetic fabrics, silk, lace, or other materials doesn't
breathe as well. If you like wearing underwear made from fabrics other than cotton, make sure the section of the underwear that will be
touching your vagina has a cotton liner. If you tend to get a lot of vaginal infections, try picking underwear made
from organic, undyed cotton that hasn't been treated with any chemicals.

STAY HEALTHY!!

Windows 8 tweak. Part 1.

WINDOWS 8 TIPS AND TRICKS.

part one Pulpit rock

    00. Make a large app tile smaller
You'll notice that Windows 8 apps come in different tile sizes, and these won't always be set up as you like (if you're not really interested in Sports, say, you might prefer that tile to be small).
In Windows 8, right-clicking a tile displays 'Smaller' or 'Larger' options which you can use to resize it.
Or in Windows 8.1, right-click a tile, 'Resize' and choose from one of four tile sizes: 'Large', 'Wide', 'Medium' and 'Small'.

0.
    Learn Windows key shortcuts

*.Win : switch between the Start screen and the last-running Windows 8 app
*.Win + C : displays the Charms: the Settings, Devices, Share and Search options
*.Win + D : launches the desktop
*.Win + E : launches Explorer
*.Win + F : opens the File Search pane
*.Win + H : opens the Share pane
*.Win + I : opens Settings
*.Win + K : opens the Devices pane
*.Win + L : locks your PC
*.Win + M : minimises the current Explorer or Internet Explorer window (works in the full-screen IE, too)
*.Win + O : toggles device orientation lock on and off
*.Win + P : switch your display to a second display or projector
*.Win + Q : open the App Search pane
*.Win + R : opens the Run box
*.Win + U : open the Ease of Access Centre
*.Win + V : cycle through toasts (notifications)
*.Win + W : search your system settings (type POWER for links to all power-related options, say)
*.Win + X : displays a text menu of useful Windows tools and applets
*.Win + Z : displays the right-click context menu when in a full-screen app
*.Win + + : launch Magnifier and zoom in
*.Win + - : zoom out
*.Win + , : Aero peek at the desktop
*.Win + Enter : launch Narrator
*.Win + PgUp : move the current screen to the left-hand monitor
*.Win + PgDn : move the current screen to the right-hand monitor
*.Win + PrtSc : capture the current screen and save it to your Pictures folder
*.Win + Tab : switch between running apps
1.
    Boot desktop apps faster

While you can still set up desktop apps to load when Windows 8 starts, they don't have the priority they once did. Quite the opposite, in fact - Windows 8 delays their launch to ensure everything else starts more quickly.
This can make the system more responsive as your system boots, but if you're switching straight to the desktop then it may slow you down, so it may be worth turning off the delay, just to see if you can spot any improvement.
Launch REGEDIT and browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Serialize.
Create the Serialize key if it doesn't exist, and select it in the left-hand pane.
Right-click in the right-hand pane, create a new DWORD value called StartupDelayInMSec, and leave it set at zero (or, if a value is already there, set it to zero).
Restart and the desktop apps will now launch more quickly.
Try three or four test boots to see if there's any improvement, and if not, delete the StartupDelayInMSec value to restore the default settings.
2.
Launch programs fast. What you need to know In Windows Phone 8

If you're a fan of keyboard shortcuts and don't like the idea of scrolling through app tiles to find the program you need, don't worry, Windows 8 still supports a useful old shortcut. Which is perfect if, say, you're looking to be able to shut down your PC with a click.
Launch the desktop app, right-click an empty part of the desktop and click New > Shortcut.
Browse to the application you'd like to launch here. Or for the sake of this example, enter shutdown.exe -s -t 00 to shut down your PC, or shutdown.exe -h -t 00 to hibernate it, and click Next.
Type a shortcut name - 'Hibernate', say - and click Finish.
Right-click the shortcut, select Pin to Start and it should appear on the far right of the Start screen - just drag the tile wherever you like.

Spain 0-2 Chile: Aranguiz sends holders crashing out of World Cup..

The reigning world and European champions have exited the competition at the group stage after being stunned by their South American opponents.

Jun 18, 2014 9:56:00 PM
World Cup holders Spain
crashed out of the tournament after they were stunned 2-0 by a brilliant Chile side on Wednesday night.
After a 5-1 hammering against the Netherlands in their opening Group B clash, Vicente del Bosque's side needed an immediate response, but fell short in another lacklustre showing. Having fallen behind to Eduardo Vargas' well-taken 20th-minute finish and been pushed to the brink by a second from Charles Aranguiz - helped by another Iker Casillas error - a comeback was never likely.
Del Bosque dropped Barcelona duo Gerard Pique and Xavi following the humiliation against the Dutch, but the change in personnel made little difference as they capitulated once again.
Busquets should probably have put Spain back into the contest early in the second half, but he inexplicably missed the target from close range, and from then on Spain lacked any real invention.
Victory for Chile means that their final group game against the Netherlands will determine who finishes top with both now through to the last 16, while Spain face Australia with nothing left to play for before heading home in despair.
The South Americans looked far brighter in the early exchanges and went close twice inside the first three minutes, as Vargas saw a poked effort deflected agonisingly wide, before Gonzalo Jara headed just off target.
Despite that, Spain gradually appeared to grow into the contest, only to find themselves behind in the 20th minute.
After latching on to Alexis Sanchez's throughball, Aranguiz squared to Vargas, who cleverly side-stepped Casillas before prodding the ball into an empty net.
The world champions almost restored parity eight minutes later, only for Diego Costa to find the side netting after pouncing on David Silva's headed pass.
And Chile soon made the most of their opponents' incompetence again to forge a two-goal lead after 43 minutes.
Aranguiz was at the centre of things once more, but it was Casillas who was the villain yet again. The Real Madrid keeper bizarrely opted to punch a Sanchez free-kick back out into a crowded area when the ball could easily have been caught.
With the defensive wall slow to react, Aranguiz controlled with a deft touch before prodding home past the stranded goalkeeper to put Spain on the brink.
The reigning world and European champions started the second period with renewed determination and they almost pulled a goal back in the 52nd minute, only for Busquets to skew a shot wide from close range after reaching Costa's overhead kick.
Del Bosque's men exerted more control over possession than in the first half, but they still struggled to get Costa into dangerous positions, with the Atletico Madrid forward soon substituted to a chorus of jeers.
Chile should have put the match beyond all doubt in the 68th minute when Mauricio Isla met Eugenio Mena's low cross at the back post, but the Juventus man sliced over, handing Spain a lifeline.
With Fernando Torres on in place of Costa and Santi Cazorla also thrown into the fray, the Spaniards desperately poured men forward in the closing stages and a long-range Andres Iniesta effort forced Claudio Bravo into an acrobatic save.
But it was not enough, as the South Americans held on to their clean sheet and booked their place in the second round.
Spain, meanwhile, were left to reflect on a world title defence that has ended before it even begun - with Del Bosque and his men now assessing just where they go from here.

Australia 2 vs 3 Netherlands - Played

    play by play

…-The referee blows his whistle to end a very entertaining match, with the Dutch ultimately coming out on top, despite an unconvincing display.
Jedinak's penalty gave Australia a deserved lead and the Dutch looked in trouble, but typically Van Persie netted his third of the tournament and then Depay netted the winner. Ryan will be disappointed with his efforts for the winner, however, letting it slip through his hands.

90′ + 4-FULL-TIME!

68′-Assist - Jonathan De Guzmán (Netherlands)
    68′-Goal - Memphis Depay (Netherlands)

56′-Following their win over Spain, perhaps the Netherlands have been believing their own hype? They look a shadow of themselves from that meeting.

54′-Penalty Goal - Mile Jedinak (Australia) GOAL!!!

AUSTRALIA TAKE THE LEAD! The captain, Mile Jedinak steps up and coolly fires the penalty past Cillessen, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.

    53′-PENALTY TO AUSTRALIA!

Brozovic does well to get into the left side of the Dutch area and after attempting to trick his way past Janmaat, he fires a cross on to the right-back's hand.
49′- Following that substitution at the end of the first half, Depay will slot into an attacking position on either flank, with Van Gaal operating for a more orthodox 4-4-2 formation.

47′-Yellow Card - Robin van Persie (Netherlands)

47′-Van Persie is the latest to go into the referee's book.
The forward's elbow seemed to catch Spiranovic near the face, but the Australia defender made the most of that. Van Persie is now suspended for their next match.

46′-Australia have the ball in the net just a few seconds after the restart, but it won't count.
Leckie appeared to nudge Blind illegally, before poking past Cillessen.

    46′-We're back underway.

23′- What a sensational couple of minutes in Porto Alegre.

.
A moment of weakness from Wilkinson at one end helped give the Dutch the lead, while a moment of magic drew them level. More of the same, please!

21′-:-DGoal - Tim Cahill (Australia) GOAL!!!

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE STRIKE! Cahill races on to a lofted ball from near the halfway line and, after peeling away from a Dutch defender, the forward unleashes an outrageous left-footed volley.
The effort smashes against the crossbar and then finds the net.

    21′-Assist - Ryan McGowan (Australia)

20′-:-DGoal - Arjen Robben (Netherlands) GOAL!!!

Netherlands take the lead in Porto Alegre! Robben does brilliantly as he takes the ball down on the half-way line, bursts past Wilkinson and then charges all the way to the Aussie area, before drilling low past Ryan.

Brazil 0-0 Mexico: Selecao held in stalemate..

Luiz Felipe Scolari's men failed to take their chances throughout the 90 minutes as they and El Tri shared the spoils.
Brazil failed to impress in Fortaleza on Tuesday as the hosts and favourites to lift the World Cup were held to a 0-0 draw by Mexico..
Having won their opening fixtures last week, both sides came into the clash knowing a win would all but assure them of a place in the second round..
Unlike much of the action previously seen at the finals, what followed was a disjointed affair devoid of any real pattern, although the hosts created the clearer goalscoring opportunities..
Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa put in an excellent display and made a superb save in each half, scooping Neymar's header away following a pinpoint Dani Alves cross in the first period before keeping out Thiago Silva's free header five yards out with just three minutes remaining..
Brazil dominated the latter stages, but ultimately Luiz Felipe Scolari's side failed to deliver the goal the home crowd so desperately craved, and the stalemate leaves the two teams locked on four points at the top of the group..
Cameroon and Croatia meet in Group A's next game on Wednesday, with each knowing defeat would see them exit the tournament..
Brazil made one alteration to the side that defeated Croatia in the opening match, Ramires coming in for the injured Hulk, while Mexico were unchanged from their win over Cameroon..
After a slow start to proceedings, Mexico's Hector Herrera had the first meaningful effort in the 24th minute. Julio Cesar tipped a rasping 25-yard drive over the crossbar, although the officials failed to see the touch and awarded a goal-kick to the hosts..
Brazil's response was immediate, Neymar rising highest to head Alves' cross towards goal, but Ochoa flew to his right to brilliantly claw the effort away..
Ochoa was called into action again 10 minutes before the break, this time making a much more routine save from Fred's header after the forward met Neymar's right-wing corner..
The North Americans hit back as Jose Vazquez momentarily worried Cesar with a swerving effort from the edge of the box which ultimately flew wide in the 41st minute..
Paulinho was then denied by Ochoa shortly before the break, the goalkeeper rushing from his line to block the midfielder's poked effort following a driven Neymar set-piece..
The opening of the second period matched that of the first with neither side able to assert themselves, Vazquez and Herrera both fizzing shots just over the bar from distance in the only efforts of note prior to the hour mark..
Neymar sent a 30-yard free-kick narrowly wide in the 63rd minute and went close again six minutes later, jinking into space inside the penalty area only to see his strike repelled once more by Ochoa..
Suddenly the hosts looked more lively, substitute Jo dragging an effort wide from a tight angle after being slipped in by fellow replacement Bernard, and Silva planting a header straight at Ochoa when it seemed easier to score..
Raul Jimenez brought a smart stop out of Cesar in stoppage time as the game became stretched, but both sides had to settle for a draw that means they each remain in control of their own fate.

Belgium 2-1 Algeria: Fellaini and Mertens seal World Cup comeback..

Sofiane Feghouli scored the opener from the spot, but Marc Wilmots' men turned up their game in the second-half to defeat the African nation
.
World Cup dark horses Belgium bounced back from going a goal behind to beat Algeria 2-1 in their opener on Tuesday..

After being left stunned by Sofiane Feghouli's first-half penalty, Belgium coach Marc Wilmots made two tactical changes that paid dividends as substitutes Marouane Fellaini and Dries Mertens both found the net to secure victory in Belo Horizonte on Tuesday..
Having missed the past two global showpieces, Belgium were caught flat-footed as Feghouli gave Algeria a surprise 25th-minute lead..
The 24-year-old was hauled down by Jan Vertonghen as they stretched for a left-wing cross and Feghouli punished him by sending Thibaut Courtois the wrong way with his spot-kick..
Belgium applied plenty of pressure and eventually got themselves back in the game as Fellaini levelled with a perfectly-placed header in the 70th minute..
Victory was assured with 10 minutes to play when Mertens capped a flowing move, the Napoli midfielder lashing the ball past Rais M'Bolhi..
A cautious start from both sides saw the game bereft of early chances, with Belgium dominating possession and Algeria restricted to breaks on the counter attack..
M'Bolhi was the first to be forced to make a save in the 21st minute as Belgian playmaker Axel Witsel unleashed a powerful strike from 20 yards, but the goalkeeper was equal to it and made a good stop..
Three minutes later, Algeria were gifted the lead as Faouzi Ghoulam raced down the left-hand side unopposed and delivered a perfect cross to the back post that Feghouli looked to get onto..
However, Vertonghen pulled him back inside the penalty area as the Valencia winger stretched every sinew to reach the ball..
Referee Marco .
Rodriguez had no hesitation in pointing to the spot, with the Tottenham defender booked for his crude tackle..
Feghouliduly rolled the ball calmly into the back of the net..
Belgium resumed their control of possession after the goal and Witsel tested M'Bolhi again with 10 minutes of the half remaining, but the 28-year-old was able to parry the shot away..
Wilmots introduced Mertens at half-time in an attempt to lift his team going forward, and it nearly had an.
immediate impact as he delivered a corner that Witsel headed over at the back post..
Eventually Belgium's pressure forced a leveller, though, as Wilmots' third sub, Fellaini, restored parity with 20 minutes remaining..
Kevin De Bruyne, who had been very quiet up to that point, found room on the left and whipped in a cross to the near post for the Manchester United midfielder.
. Fellaini was able to get himself in front of his marker and sent a flicked header crashing off the crossbar and into the back of the net..
Mertens then ensured Wilmots will be lauded as a tactical genius in the 80th minute after a lightning-quick break from Eden Hazard led to the winner.
The Chelsea man drew two defenders before finding his team-mate and Mertens made no mistake.

Argentina 2-1 Bosnia-Herzegovina: Messi magic lights up Maracana

After cutting a disinterested figure in the first half, the Barcelona star came to life and scored a brilliant solo effort as his side began their World Cup campaign with a win.
Jun 16, 2014 12:51:00 AM
A moment of magic from Lionel Messi helped Argentina to a winning start in their World Cup campaign as they beat Bosnia-Herzegovina 2-1 at the Maracana on Sunday.
Sead Kolasinac's unfortunate own goal in just the third minute sent the South Americans on their way before Messi scored with a fine second-half effort.
Substitute Vedad Ibisevic gave Bosnia hope with an 85th-minute goal, but they were unable to find an equaliser.
Messi, like his team, had been largely poor until the 65th-minute goal as Argentina, one of the tournament favourites, toiled away manfully in the Group F clash.
Alejandro Sabella would have been worried about the opening hour, but his team finished decently after Messi's second World Cup goal and first since 2006. Starting with a 5-3-2 was perhaps the biggest surprise to Sabella's Argentina line-up.
Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain was left on the bench, seemingly still yet to recover fully from an ankle injury.
In their first ever World Cup game, Bosnia-Herzegovina had few shocks in their starting XI with Edin Dzeko leading the line in a 4-2-3-1.
But Safet Susic's men made the worst possible start to be behind after two minutes and eight seconds.
Messi's set-piece from the left was headed by Marcos Rojo, hit a stranded Kolasinac and crept past goalkeeper Asmir Begovic for the fastest own goal in World Cup history. Izet Hajrovic almost had Bosnia level in the 13th minute, but goalkeeper Sergio Romero scrambled away after the midfielder's heavy first touch. Despite the awful start, Susic's side looked comfortable in defence and were just lacking some polish in the attacking third. Maxi Rodriguez blazed well over from 30 yards just after the half-hour mark for Argentina, while Javier Mascherano's effort from range forced Begovic into a save moments later. An off-balance Dzeko tried his luck from outside the area in the 33rd minute, but he curled his left-footed shot over the bar.
A largely dull first half was brought to life four minutes before half-time.
Senad Lulic almost had Bosnia's equaliser from a Miralem Pjanic corner, only for Romero to push
the header around his post in the last chance of the half.Unhappy with his side's first half, Sabella made two changes at the break as Higuain and Fernando
replaced Gago andRodriguez Hugo Campagnaro, with the system shifting to a flexible 4-3-3.
But Bosnia remained on the front foot after the interval as Hajrovic struck a free kick straight at Romero from 25 yards
in the 50th minute and then shot at him from range.
Sergio Aguero's strike
from an angle lacked the power and direction to seriously trouble Begovic after he was teed up by Messi
. Messi had squandered a good free kick chance before he doubled Argentina's lead in the 65th minute in truly emphatic style.
The Barcelona star exchanged passes with Higuain, skipped past a challenge and placed his
left-footed shot in off the post from the edge of the area.
Ibisevic pulled a goal back for Susic's side - their first ever in the World Cup - as he poked
through Romero's legs after a fine through ball by Lulic, but Argentina held on.

France 3-0 Honduras: Brilliant Benzema dispatches Suarez's side.

The Real Madrid striker scored twice and forced an own goal from the goalkeeper as Didier Deschamps' men breezed past the 10 men of the Central Americans.
Jun 15, 2014 9:52:00 PM
Karim Benzema was in inspired form as France opened their World Cup campaign with a convincing 3-0 win over Honduras.
Luis Suarez's Central Americans were not afraid to put in several robust challenges - an approach that resulted in Wilson Palacios' dismissal shortly before the break.
There was also a first moment of doubt in relation to goal-line technology at the World Cup, with initial confusion over the verdict for France's second goal.
However, Didier Deschamps' men were rightful victors as they moved top of Group E despite having struggled to break down Honduras' backline for the majority of the opening 45 minutes.
Benzema gave France the lead from the penalty spot just prior to the break, with Palacios shown a second yellow card after barging into Paul Pogba, and the 10 men
of Honduras fell further behind early in the second half.
After a short delay, Goal-line technology confirmed goalkeeper Noel Valladares had fumbled Benzema's effort over the line, and the Real Madrid man added a third 18 minutes from time as the French got their first points on the board in Brazil.
Both sides struggled to build momentum early on, although Mathieu Valbuena and Antoine Griezmann were among the livelier French players in the opening 10 minutes.
Valbuena in particular was a danger and his delivery led to France's first chance 14 minutes
in - Blaise Matuidi seeing his effort from inside the area tipped onto and over the crossbar by Valladares.
From there, France dominated play and Griezmann was next to go close with a header that hit the woodwork.
Tempers flared shortly before the half-hour mark when Pogba and Palacios were involved in a heated exchange after some tenacious tackling from the Stoke City man.
Pogba kicked out at the Honduran from on the ground and was perhaps lucky to escape with only a yellow card, while Palacios was also booked for the initial challenge. For Honduras, that break in play provided welcome respite from constant French pressure and the incident seemed to slow the Europeans' momentum somewhat.
Indeed, they needed a penalty to give them a lead at the break -Benzematucking the spot-kick away after Palacios had mindlessly bundled over Pogba in the area.
The midfielder's subsequent dismissal gave the Central Americans a mountain to climb in the second half, with things getting worse for Honduras two minutes after the restart with the arrival of France's second.
Benzema's initial effort struck the far post and, with the assistance of Goal-line technology and some poor handling from Valladares, it found its way over the line.
While there was a delay on the confirmation of the goal and subsequent disagreements between France coach Deschamps and his counterpart Suarez on the touchline, the ball was - eventually - clearly adjudged to be over the line.
There was no doubt whatsoever as to Benzema's second of the game, though - the impressive striker crashing an effort into the roof of the net from a tight angle with 18 minutes left.
That put further daylight between the two sides, although more robust tackling from Honduras late on meant that Deschamps will likely have been satisfied to simply come through a physical encounter unscathed and seemingly without injury.

England 1-2 Italy: Balotelli heads Azzurri to victory

Claudio Marchisio and Mario Balotelli sandwiched a Daniel Sturridge strike to give Cesare Prandelli's men all three points from their opener against Roy Hodgson's charges
Italy made the perfect start to their World Cup campaign, beating Group D rivals England 2-1 in Manaus on Saturday.
Labelled as the 'rumble in jungle' heading into the match, Italy continued their domination over England thanks to goals from Claudio Marchisio and Mario Balotelli at the Arena Amazonia.

Daniel Sturridge had England on level terms at half-time, after cancelling out Marchisio's 35th-minute opener within two minutes.
But Balotelli repaid the faith shown in him by coach Cesare Prandelli, popping up to head home the winner five minutes after the break as England were left with just two wins in their past 12 international meetings against Italy.
The Azzurri are back in action against Costa Rica on Friday, while England face Uruguay a day earlier.
Roy Hodgson made just one change from the team that stuttered to a goalless draw against Honduras in their final warm-up match, with Raheem Sterling free from suspension to replace Adam Lallana in midfield.
It was a different story for Italy, who were forced into two changes.
Captain Gianluigi Buffon failed to overcome an ankle strain and was replaced by Salvatore Sirigu in goal, while full-back Mattia De Sciglio also dropped out through injury and Matteo Darmian took his place in the starting XI.
Up front, Prandelli decided to stick with wayward striker Balotelli, despite Ciro Immobile's hat-trick display against Brazilian club Fluminense midweek.
Much had been said about the weather in Manaus leading into the match but conditions did not affect the early exchanges as both teams pressed forward.
Although, as far as chances were concerned inside the opening 20 minutes, both sides were limited to long-range efforts, with Sterling, Jordan Henderson and Antonio Candreva trying their luck from distance.
England did come close to breaking the deadlock in the 23rd minute, albeit fortuitously, when Danny Welbeck's low pass across the penalty area deflected off Andrea Barzagli and just narrowly wide of the far post with Sturridge lurking.
However, it was Italy who opened the scoring courtesy of Marchisio 11 minutes before the half-time interval after a well-executed short corner.
Candreva passed to Andrea Pirlo on the edge of the box and the veteran midfielder let the ball run through toMarchisio, who fired a low shot past goalkeeper Joe Hart from 25 yards.
The Italian's lead was short-lived as their lack of pace in defence was exposed two minutes later.
After a swift counter-attacking move, Wayne Rooney was freed on the left and delivered an inch-perfect cross forSturridgeto convert on the half volley.
England and Italy went into the break on level terms but it took the four-time world champions just five minutes of the second half to restore their lead, this time thanks to Balotelli.
Candreva was in the thick of the action again, beating Leighton Baines to pick out Balotelliat the back post and the AC Milan striker leapt highest to nod home his first international goal since October last year.
Rooney had a great chance to restore parity and net his first World Cup goal, however, he fluffed his lines inside the penalty area on the hour-mark.
Hodgson introduced midfield trio Ross Barkley, Jack Wilshere and Adam Lallana in search of an equaliser but it was Italy that came closest to a late goal with Pirlo hitting the crossbar with a free-kick in stoppage time, as they emerged triumphant in just their second World Cup clash against England.

12. Cut out herbs before ops.
Some herbal supplements-from the popular St John's Wort and ginkgo biloba to garlic, ginger, ginseng and feverfew-can cause increased bleeding during surgery, warn surgeons.
It may be wise to stop taking all medication, including herbal supplements, at least two weeks before surgery, and inform your surgeon about your herbal use.
13. I say tomato.
Tomato is a superstar in the fruit and veggie pantheon.
Tomatoes contain lycopene, a powerful cancer fighter. They’re also rich in vitamin C.
The good news is that cooked tomatoes are also nutritious, so use them in pasta, soups and casseroles, as well as in salads.
The British Thoracic Society says that tomatoes and apples can reduce yourrisk of asthmaandchronic lung diseases. Both contain the antioxidant quercetin. To enjoy the benefits, eat five apples a week or a tomato every other day.
14. Eat your stress away.
Prevent low blood sugar as it stresses you out. Eat regular and small healthy meals and keep fruit and veggies handy.
Herbal teas will also soothe your frazzled nerves. Eating unrefined carbohydrates, nuts and bananas boosts the formation of serotonin, another feel-good drug.
Small amounts of protein containing the amino acid tryptamine can give you a boost when stress tires you out.
15. Load up on vitamin C.
We need at least 90 mg of vitamin C per day and the best way to get this is by eating at least five servings of fresh fruit and vegetables every day.
So hit the oranges and guavas!
16. No folly in folic acid.
Folic acid should be taken regularly by all pregnant mums and people with a low immunity to disease.
Folic acid prevents spina bifida in unborn babies and can play a role in cancer prevention. It is found in green leafy vegetables, liver, fruit and bran.
17. A for Away.
This vitamin, and beta carotene, help to boost immunity against disease.
It also assists in the healing process of diseases such as measles and is recommended by the WHO. Good natural sources of vitamin A are kidneys, liver, dairy products, green and yellow vegetables, pawpaw, mangoes, chilli pepper, red sorrel and red palm oil.
18. Pure water.
Don’t have soft drinks or energy drinks while you're exercising. Stay properlyhydrated by drinking enough water during your workout (just don't overdo things, as drinking too much water can also be dangerous).
While you might need energy drinks for long-distance running, in shorter exercise sessions in the gym, your body will burn the glucose from the soft drink first, before starting to burn body fat. Same goes for eating sweets.
19. GI, Jane.
Carbohydrates with ahigh glycaemic index, such as bread, sugar, honey and grain-based food will give instant energy and accelerate your metabolism. If you’re trying to burn fat, stick to beans, rice, pasta, lentils, peas, soya beans and oat bran, all of which have a low GI count.
20. Mindful living.
You've probably heard the old adage that life's too short to stuff a mushroom.
But perhaps you should consider the opposite: that life's simply too short NOT to focus on the simple tasks. By slowing down and concentrating on basic things, you'll clear your mind of everything that worries you. Really concentrate on sensations and experiences again: observe the rough texture of a strawberry's skin as you touch it, and taste the sweet-sour juice as you bite into the fruit;
when your partner strokes your hand, pay careful attention to the sensation on your skin;
and learn to really focus on simple tasks while doing them, whether it's flowering plants or ironing your clothes.
21. The secret of stretching.
When you stretch, ease your body into position until you feel the stretch and hold it for about 25 seconds. Breathe deeply to help your body move oxygen-rich blood to those sore muscles.
Don't bounce or force yourself into an uncomfortable position.
22. Do your weights workout first.
Experts say weight training should be done first, because it's a higher intensity exercise compared to cardio.
Your body is better able to handle weight training early in the workout because you're fresh and you have the energy you need to work it.
Conversely, cardiovascular exercise should be the last thing you do at the gym, because it helps your body recover by increasing blood flow to the muscles, and flushing out lactic acid, which builds up in the muscles while you're weight training.
It’s the lactic acid that makes your muscles feel stiff and sore.

Spain 1-5 Netherlands: Robben and Van Persie obliterate world champions.!!

Two goals apiece for the attacking duo and a tap-in from Stefan de Vrij left Vicente del Bosque's men totally torn apart in the first game of their title defence

  • Netherlandsleft World Cup holders Spainshaken to the core after they recorded a 5-1 thrashing in their opening game on Friday.
Andres Iniesta scored in extra-time to give Spain a 1-0 win and the trophy in South Africa four years ago, and it appeared the same result was on the cards in Salvador when Xabi Alonso powered home a first-half penalty.
But the Netherlands hit back in stunning fashion, with Robin van Persie and Arjen Robben in scintillating form.
Van Persie levelled matters with a fabulous header on the stroke of half-time, before Robben - who fatefully missed a one-on-one with Iker Casillas in the 2010 final - gave Louis van Gaal's side the lead eight minutes after the interval.
Things went from bad to worse for the world champions when Stefan de Vrij nodded home a third on 64 minutes, before Van Persie and Robben netted again to complete a remarkable rout in Group B's opening fixture and cast further doubt over Spain's chances of winning their fourth straight major tournament.
Spain boss Vicente del Bosque forewent the temptation to start with Cesc Fabregas in the false-nine role that was so successful during Euro 2012, instead choosing Diego Costa as an out-and-out striker.
Costa's impact on their system was evident, too, as Spain opted for a more direct approach than in previous tournaments.
It was the Netherlands who created the first opening, Robben's inch-perfect throughball finding Wesley Sneijder, only for the playmaker - making his 100th international appearance - to shoot straight at Casillas. Costa then spurned a couple of half-openings as Spain began to find their feet and the Netherlands' defending became increasingly desperate.
It was a last-ditch tackle that led to the opener, De Vrij's sliding challenge bringing down the lively Costa - withAlonsocoolly converting from the spot.
Van Gaal's side enjoyed a good spell thereafter, but Spain threatened again on the stroke of half-time as Jasper Cillessen kept out David Silva's cute dink following a stunning Iniesta pass.
That miss would become all the more important soon after,Van Persielooping a superb diving header over Casillas after being picked out by Daley Blind's sumptuous long diagonal.
Picking up where they left off, the Netherlands went ahead soon after the break.
Another searching Blind delivery found Robben, who controlled and turned beyond Gerard Pique - who could only deflect his effort beyond Casillas.
Spain suddenly had no answer to their opponents' new-found verve, Van Persie rattling the crossbar with a vicious strike.
The woodwork could not save Del Bosque's men soon after, though, as De Vrija toned for his earlier misstep by heading Sneijder's deep free kick in off the post after Casillas thought he had been fouled by Van Persie.
The Spain captain was visibly rattled, and an uncharacteristic error from him 18 minutes from time enabledVan Persieto notch his second goal of the game as he stole the ball from his feet and poked home.
And the Netherlands were not finished there, as Casillas was forced to pick the ball out of the net again as the irresistible Robben took advantage of more lax defending to race clear and round off a scarcely believable result.
what a rubbish start for the reigning champions.!!!

Brazil 3-1 Croatia: Neymar inspires Selecao comeback

The Barcelona star came to the rescue after the host nation had fallen behind at the Arena de Sao Paulo on Thursday night

Two goals from Neymar and a late Oscar strike inspired Brazilto a 3-1 comeback victory over Croatia in the opening game of the 2014 World Cup.
The host nation fell behind to an early own goal from Marcelo, before Neymar was perhaps fortunate to be shown just a yellow card after catching Luka Modric in the throat with a stray arm.
Soon after, the 22-year-old levelled with a fine 25-yard effort on his left foot, before converting a controversial second half penalty after Dejan Lovren was adjudged to have brought down Fred.
And as the game entered injury-time, man-of-the-match Oscar sped forward and toe-poked home an effort from the edge of the box to give Brazil breathing space and, most importantly, three points.
While Brazil had the luxury of naming the same side that started last year's Confederations Cup final success over Spain, Croatia were without suspended striker Mario Mandzukic, leaving Nikica Jelavic to lead the line in his absence.
Also without injured left-back Danijel Pranjic, Croatia fired the first shot in anger as Mateo Kovacic steered an effort wide in the first minute.
Brazil's first significant foray forward saw David Luiz's tame header saved, but the pressure was on them at the other end of the pitch.
Ivica Olic's header wide served as a warning for Brazil, and it was one they did not heed, as Croatia claimed a surprise 11th-minute lead.
Olic galloped down the left wing in space before crossing for Jelavic, and although he could only scuff a left-foot shot, his effort was inadvertently steered in by Marcelo from six yards.
Brazil's initial response was frantic and anxious, but they soon found their rhythm, with Neymar's run to the byline and subsequent centre causing panic, and almost the equaliser, as Oscar saw a 20-yard left-foot effort superbly saved by Pletikosa after Croatia failed to clear their lines. Neymar's contact with Modric then drew an angry response, with replays showing that the Barcelona star had caught the midfielder in the throat with a stray arm, before Jelavic headed straight at Brazil goalkeeper Julio Cesar.
Croatia's promising start was undone in the 29th minute, though, as Oscar, who did superbly in a cluster of players to find Neymar, watched his team-mate trickle a left-foot strike past Pletikosa and in off the inside of the post from 25 yards.
A lull was inevitable following half an hour of mayhem, but it lasted longer than expected, and although Brazil shaded the early stages of the second half, the best they had to show for it was a Dani Alves free-kick that sailed over.
That was until Nishimura pointed to the spot after Oscar's ball to Fred brought about slight contact from Lovren.
Neymar's stuttering run-up was far from convincing, and his tame effort ought to have been kept out by Pletikosa, but the goalkeeper could only get a hand to the shot on its way into the net.
A sublime Oscar cross nearly brought about Brazil's third goal, only for Luiz to head over, while at the other end Croatia's hard luck was summed up by Ivan Perisic's disallowed goal, ruled out because of Olic's minimal contact with Cesar.
Modric and Vedran Corluka both went close as well, as Croatia mounted a late charge, but Oscar's composed finish capped a stunning performance from the midfielder, as the hosts opened the World Cup with a victory

How to put put Posts into your Pages in Blogger

welcome to lefteprof world..!! This article shows how to set up your blog, using Blogger, so that it looks like your posts are on separate web-pages.

Can you put Posts onto Pages in Blogger? Ever since Google introduced "pages" into Blogger, people have complained that their posts all go onto the " home page", and asked how to put posts onto different pages in their blog.

The standard, but unsatisfactory, answer is
"Sorry, that's not how Blogger works. So called "static" pages in Blogger are meant to be used for reference information that doesn't change often, which you don't want to be part of your regular post-feed, but which you do want users to have easy access to."

Basically, this is part of the difference between post and pages.

Luckily it's easy to set up your blog so that it looks like your posts are on different pages [tweet this](even though you and I know that this isn't how Blogger works) by following three simple steps.

Follow these steps to put your posts into pages
==>1. Add Categories Categorise your postsby adding Labels to them.
It's your choice whether to add Labels to all posts, or just the ones that you want to show up on specific "pages".
2.==> Make a "pages look alike" menu bar:
There are (at least) are three ways of doing this - described below. When Blogger first implemented static pages that could link to websites, I suggested choosing which ever option suited your blog best.
However now, due to the increasing importance of mobile templates,I recommend Option
c),because the pages-gadget is the only one mentioned which automatically shows upon mobile-templates.
a) With a Labels Gadget:Use the usual add-a-gadget approachto put aLabelsgadget into the spot where you would put the Pages gadget if you wanted to make a horizontal menu bar with it.

If your blog has some Labels that you don't want to have "pages" for, then set it to show only some of your Labels:
b) With a Linked-list gadget:Use the usual add-a-gadget approachto put aLink-listgadget where you would put the Pages gadget if you wanted to make a horizontal menu bar with it.

Add a linkto the list for each Label that you want a "page" for.
The HTML to use for each Label value is http://YOUR-BLOG-URL/search/label/THE-LABEL-NAME
You can also add other items (eg individual Posts, or even Bllogger's static "pages" if you really must have them.

c) With a Pages gadget:Use the usual add-a-gadget approachto put a Pages gadget into the menu bar area.
(You can do this even if you have not created any Pages of content).
While you are editing the Pages gadget, there is an+ Add link pageoption.
Click on this, and add an entry in like the ones described above in he Linked-list gadget option, putting
*.the text you want in your menu bar into the Page title field
*.The label search command into the Web address field.
3 Optional: Deal with the home-page If you don't want your posts to appear on the "home page" was well as the topic pages, then there are two possibilities:
*.Use a technique similar to Showing a Gadget only on the Home Page to not show the Blog Posts gadget on the home page. In this case, the condition to use is != instead of ==) If you do try this, then I strongly recommend that you consider the various options for giving your blog a home page, and make sure you accept the disadvantages of editing your template. OR
*.Give your blog a "home page" using the custom-redirect option discussed in this post.
However I generally see this as unnecessary, because in most cases, very blog visitors ever see the home page. Job Done
It really is that simple.
Your readers can now click on the "pages" in your blog from a "menu" at the top, and see a list of posts for the Page that they chose.
Even better, if some posts relate to more than one topic, they show up onbothof the relevant pages.
And if you have used the Pages gadget, your blog is well set-up to work with a mobile-template- which is something that is getting more important every month.
Don't forget to test your blog, to make sure that the menu bar is working how you expect it to and that it looks OK, in all the browsers that your readers areactuallyusing.
Hope it helps..
